Since launching the Salon Supplies Student Support Scheme, we've been overwhelmed by the hundreds of entries from trainees across the country - and now it's time to announce the winners.
Each of the winners will receive a bumper kit bag containing everything they need to reach their full potential during their three years of training, including the Wahl Super Taper, Parlux Hairdryer, Joewell SZ scissors, Diva Session Straightener and a Denman Professional Styling Kit.
The scheme is also supported by Habia who will be providing free membership to the lucky winners, offering them some incredible training resources.
And, as if all this wasn’t enough, the winners will also be invited to a celebratory lunch with Salon Supplies and will be invited as special guests to Salon International 2014, the biggest event in the hairdressing calendar.
After hours of deliberation, a team of judges comprised of representatives from Salon Supplies, Habia and HJ have selected five winners for the Student Support Scheme competition.
Commenting on the scheme, Bav Dhanda, marketing manager of Salon Supplies said: "We strongly believe in supporting students who are the future of hairdressing and supplying them with a free kit bag is an excellent way of doing this."
Erik Lander, Habia skills team manager, added: "We want to build the relationship between the governing body and the young hairdressers coming through, promoting qualifications, standards, passion and creativity within our industry."
