Bba masters competition shortlist announced

The British Barbers’ Association (BBA),has announced the finalists of its 2014 BBA Masters Competition. The awards were open to all barbers within the UK who were also members of the BBA, the shortlist has been determined by the British Barbers’ Association judges and voting is now open on the website Style director of the British Barbers’ Association, Chris Foster commented; “2014 has been a great year for entrees - the talent that we’ve seen is so impressive; we have had a difficult task on our hands narrowing down the finalists. Being creative is a big part of our industry and it’s great that talented barbers are utilising the essential competitions such as the BBA Masters to hone their skills as it’s the perfect platform to show exactly how talented you are.” There are three categories within the competition; Creative Master, Classic Master and Pattern Master, all of which now have 10 finalists. The Pattern Master category will then be narrowed down further to a shortlist of four talented barbers who will then battle it out in a ‘face off’ knock-out style competition inside a boxing ring at the Barber Connect exhibition. The competition is sponsored by professional haircare and styling range Structure.
