Hob salons photographic competition selects trend vision wildcard entries HOB Salons Photographic Competition Selects Trend Vision Wildcard Entry The annual HOB Salons Photographic Competition saw stylists and colourists from across the 24-salon group compete for the chance to represent the brand at Wella Trend Vision 2014. Hosted at the Wella World studio in London, employees were fighting for the opportunity to represent HOB Salons and, hopefully, secure them another win following on from previous year's successes at Trend Vision. Staff were encouraged to enter one of five categories - Hair-Up, Image of the Year, Men's, Young Talent and Colour - with winners rewarded with the opportunity to take parts in shoots and shows over the next year. Winners in the prestigious Young Talent and Colour categories were further rewarded with the golden ticket - the chance to represent HOB in their entries for Trend Vision. On the day, finalists recreated their entry and presented to a panel of judges, which included HOB Salons directors Paul Simbler, Clive Collins and HJ’s current and four-time British Hairdresser of the Year, Akin Konizi, as well as members of the HOB Salons Creative and Education Team and Wella Technician Fae Hatton.

The competition was very tough and after winning the Men's category last year, I was really excited to have come back and won Young Talent this time, securing my place to enter Trend Vision 2014! It is so inspiring to be part of this and I am thankful to HOB Salons for their ongoing support."
