Brunette most sought-after shade according to schwarzkopf survey

A survey by Schwarzkopf has revealed that brunette is the most in-demand hair colour, with Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge responsible for its rise in the ranks. More than 1,000 women were questioned as part of the survey, the results of which put brunettes in first place as the most sought-after shade and Kate Middleton's glossy chestnut hue as the most coveted celebrity colour. The survey also revealed that 40% of women who have coloured their hair in the last six months have opted to go brunette and that 43% of women have made the change from blonde to brunette as a confidence-boosting colour change. A further 21% of grey-haired women said that when covering their silver strands, brunette was their shade of choice.
