Paul mitchell showcase new tools and colour at 2013 gathering

Paul Mitchell showcased a new range of electrical styling tools and their recently-launched semi-permanent colour at the Grand Opening show of their 2013 Gathering event in Las Vegas. In front of an audience of 3,500 hairdressers representing 27 countries, a host of celebrated stylists including John Paul Dejoria, Angus Mitchell and Robert Cromeans presented three inspiring shows to commence the two-day celebration of hairdressing education and inspiration. The new semi-permanent range promises 'performance; pure and simple." And it's not just about creativity, it's about providing a solid salon service too. Vice president of education, Stephanie Kocielski, explained: "It's not just the next generation of colour, it's the next generation of business." Paul Mitchell's men's range, Mitch, was also celebrated in a smokin' hot, high-impact show featuring stars of the Paul Mitchell Sports programme and blues rockers Vintage Trouble. Angus Mitchell was also on hand to unveil the new ad campaign for the grooming range, which sees he and John Paul cruising in the same '59 Cadillac owned by his late father. [gallery ids="22045,22043,22037,22038,22041,22042,22040,22039,22044"] The show closed with a celebration of the brand-new Neuro range of styling tools and a spectacularly creative performance from stilt-walking pole dancers and a host of models. The range, which will launch in the UK in March 2014, comprises a smoothing iron, styling cones and rod, hot rollers and a dryer. With the audience amped up and inspired, it  was on to the classrooms where educators from across the globe will present classes in everything from styling with rollers to boosting business with social media.
