Goldwell topchic tour visits south wales
Celebrating the 40th birthday and relaunch of its famous Topchic colour, Goldwell recently set up stage at the prestigious Celtic Manor Resort in Newport, South Wales.
The show was hosted by William Wilson, and included styling and colouring from ColorZoom winners Neil Barton and Lisa Whiteman.
Together Neil and Lisa demonstrated colour application using the updated Topchic range, and created cuts including the dazzling red bob pictured above. They also explained the new consultation and application tools available from Goldwell.
Lisa, who works in Mayfair in London, talked about her working life, balancing three days a week on the salon floor with running the business, managing staff, training and representing Goldwell at events.
Neil explained how he went from a salon with two staff to having 14 employees, all of whom he trains himself.
They also gave tips for ColorZoom entrants, such as looking out for models in unexpected places. "I found my model waitressing locally" said Lisa, while Neil said that he'd spotted his model for the night "kissing her boyfriend goodbye outside the salon because she lived in the flat above."
