How to cut a modern rockability quiff
Barbering techniques from the 1930s and 1980s are mixed to create a new-generation Rockabilly that is more quiffed than coiffed.
STEP ONE:
Take a rounded diamond section, then take diagonal back sections and cut, decreasing in length.
STEP TWO:
Continue to take sections to the back, then repeat on the opposite side and cross check.
STEP THREE:
Cut the sides and back tight at the perimeter, blending into previously cut graduation.
STEP FOUR:
Take a radial section and blend into the back, building up weight towards the crown.
STEP FIVE:
Pivot sections through the top from short to long.
STEP SIX:
Cut front sections square, maintaining length.
