La Biosthetique created bountiful beautiful braids backstage at one of the hottest shows at Berlin Fashion Week; Lala Berlin.

Creative director Alexander Dinter worked with designer Leyla Piedayesh to create a complex plaited look, inspired by Bo Derek's legendary 1980s style but transformed for a modern, sophisticated finish with the ends of the braids attached to head.

Recreating such a time-consuming style on 23 models required meticulous planning, but Alexander and the La Biosthetique team rose to the challenge - although some models took more than an hour to style.

The final show saw models posed on podiums with catwalk guests walking around for a closer inspection of the clothes - also allowing more time to appreciate the intricate hair.
