Tigi team style red carpet looks at the british soap awards 2010
The stars of the small screen were out in force for The British Soap Awards 2010 and five TIGI ambassadors were on hand to style the hopefuls as well as Jodie Gardener from the TIGI education team.

Jane Danson - Hair Styled by Amy Stucker of The Chair, Canterbury, Kent
"I created Jane's loose tousled curls using curling products. I applied dry shampoo in the root area to boost volume and the look was finished with hairspray for flexible hold."
Hollie Quin Ankrah -Hair styled by Charlotte Shirley of Tangles, Braunton, Devon
"Hollie's beautiful curls were given a helping hand with curl products. After cleansing and conditioning using curl defining shampoo and conditioner.
"Leave in conditioner was applied along with the amplifier to add definition and hold before drying the hair. Serum was then worked through the hair to further define and add illustrious shine to her style."
Shobna Gulati - Hair Styled by TIGI Educator Jodie Gardner
"For Shobna's style I used volume-boosting products for maximum volume and body. I applied a root boost and thickening gel crème before blow drying.
"Heated rollers were applied and once removed hair was backcombed to give extra height at the roots. Her hair was smoothed using a weightless shine spray and firm hold hairspray kept her dramatic look in place."
Helen Flanagan - Hair styled by Raffaella Antenucci of Raffaella Hair Studio, Leighton Buzzard
"Volume was key to Helen's glamorous low chignon. I boosted the volume using the volumising products and back combed at the crown to give extra height. I finished the look with a shine spray and accessorized with a diamante headband."
Sacha Parkinson - Hair Styled by Donna Aldridge of Crackers & Chaps, Diss, Norfolk
"Sacha wanted an unstructured updo so firstly I boosted the volume using a root booster before blasting with the hairdryer.
"Tousled curls were created using a curl stick and the hair was back-combed added oomph before loosely pinning the curls. The look was finished using a strong hairspray and a weightless shine spray."
Jennie McAlpine - Hair Styled by Maria DiGregorio of Anita's Hair & Beauty, Reading
"Jennie wanted her tight curls pinned up in a glamorous style to complement her vintage dress. An amplifier was applied to wet hair to define and nourish the curls before drying.
"I then used a defining Serum to de-frizz and accentuate the curls before pinning into a side chignon for vintage appeal. The look was finished using a strong hairspray and a light shine spray."
Samia Smith - Hair styled by Donna Aldridge of Crackers & Chaps, Diss, Norfolk
"Samia wanted a 'messy' up do so firstly I boosted the volume using Catwalk Your Highness Root Boost before blasting with the hairdryer.
"Tousled curls were created using a curl stick and hair was back combed for extra volume before loosely pinning the curls. The look was finished using hairspray and weightless shine spray."
Brooke Vincent - Hair styled by Raffaella Antenucci of Raffaella Hair Studio, Leighton Buzzard
"Brooke's hair is layered and she also has a fringe. Raffaella applied volumising products and then back combed the hair at the crown.
"Dry shampoo was used to mattify her freshly washed hair and add volume before tonging the hair into loose curls using a curl stick. The Curls were loosely pinned to secure the different length layers and her fringe was swept away from her face for an elegant finish."
