Paris and diana sport hippyish spring/summer updos

It's good to see a couple of celebrities already channelling the spring/summer catwalk hair trends.

Party girl Paris Hilton stepped out in pretty pigtails recently with a hippy, super-slim headband and bright sunshine yellow, strapless dress. She teamed her bunches with chunky gold jewellery and oversized shades for a kitsch, 70s finish.

This look is a festival favourite and has been given the high-fashion seal of approval by appearing as one of Prada's catwalk looks for spring/summer looks for 2010.

Paris doesn't usually go for hippyish trends but she managed to make the style glossy and bold with her individual take on the look.

From the sunny streets of LA to the What's On Stage awards in London, X Factor finalist Diana Vickers was seen sporting another hot catwalk trend with her dishevelled, fat plait, worn to one side, as seen at the Alexender Wang shows.

The rising star won the Theatregoers' Choice Award/London Newcomer of the Year for her role in The Rise and Fall of Little Voice.

And since her earlier backcombed, teen style, recent looks have ranged from shiny lengths to this on-trend updo.
