Celebrating the magic of cut and colour at the fellowship masterclass
Eighteen of the most talented hairdressing teams in the UK joined forces to put on a must-see masterclass for the Fellowship of British Hairdressing at the Cumberland Hotel, London.
With the added bonus of an exclusive interview with former Sassoon colour legend Annie Humphreys and the current Fellowship Hairdresser of the Year Tim Hartley, 'Sympodium 18' really was a seminar not to be missed.
To celebrate the inseparable relationship between cut and colour, the evening partnered a colourist and a stylist to present two stunning models.
And with 18 talented duos in action there was a huge variation of looks from Patrick Cameron's classic finger waves to Lee Stafford's platinum crops with hair tattoos and Errol Douglas's electro pop men's styles.
In between the love seminars Annie and Tim shared their wisdom. "The cut is nothing without colour. It is make-up for the hair that accentuates the cut. One can't really live without the other," Tim told the audience.
The pair also made their trend predictions for the coming year, with Annie stating that "beautiful blondes" will be the big story of the year, and Tim declaring his love for "screaming reds".
