HABB-curved.gifThe hair industry is full of amazing people who have done extraordinary things and, for the first time, the Hair & Beauty Benevolent (HABB) will be recognising some of those people.

There will be two new awards presented at the HABB Honours Ball 2010 on February 8th and the HABB management commitee is looking for nominations for worthy winners in the following categories:

  • The Outstanding Courage Award - for those who have overcome something themselves
  • The Compassionate Caring Award - for those who help others

So if you know someone in the hair and beauty industry who you feel deserves recognition by their peers for overcoming personal difficulties, or helping others, then this is your opportunity to get them recognised.

Your nominee could have overcome a medical issue, personal circumstance or learning difficulty; perhaps they do amazing things in the community, such as devoting themselves to a parent or child or raising lots of money for a local charity - whatever the reason, their story has to be inspirational.

If you would like to nominate someone you admire, all you have to do is complete the HABB Honours Nomination Form and send it to [email protected] by Monday, January 25th.
