Get your hairdressing career on track

Online charity YouthNet is calling for aspiring stylists and colour technicians to film and upload their best piece of career advice as part of a new social media campaign.

The campaign is part of the pre-launch activity for Lifetracks.com, a new online resource to help young people with work, study and training.

Said Fiona Dawe, chief executive of  YouthNet: "The best career advice doesn't always come from a parent, teacher or career advisor, which is why it's so important we hear real-life stories from real people."

To take part, users need to upload a video to the yourlifeontack channel on YouTube or you can see some of the videos that have already been added here:
