New trends and techniques at ghd transformation seminars

ghd-transformation-seminar.jpgLearning the most useful, most inspiring techniques was black and white at the ghd Transformation Education seminars; where attendees used black and white cards to vote for the trends and celebrity hairstyles that they would most like to see demonstrated.

But the transformation seminars - which took place at 10 fabulous UK venues throughout the UK - weren't just about the hottest new looks; members of the ghd creative education team and the ghd directive also showed the audience new solutions to age-old problems.

ghd-transformation-seminar2.jpg"Regardless of which problem or challenge you're faced with in the salon, there's a ghd 'quick fix' that will transform your client," explained Alistair Homer, ghd education development manager, and seminar host.

"Short layers, a blunt fringe, hair that's too long or too short will present themselves every day, but need hold no fear for the ghd expert."

A combination of tips, tricks, product know-how, new and trusted techniques combined to form the basis of the three-hour sessions aimed to empower stylists to tackle special occasion and everyday styling with confidence.

ghd-transformation-seminar1.jpg"My advice is not to have a plan!" said Lisa Booth of the ghd directive.  "With the right preparation - setting, waving and texturizing techniques - you should be able to tackle any commercial or celebrity look in the salon."

With the audience buzzing with ideas to take back to their salons, Lisa, who is also a stylist on Gok Wan's Fashion Fix, added to the wow factor by demonstrating her brand new 'Rock 'n' Roller' technique, which she used to produce the season's must-have random rock-chic waves.
