Hey,
dont panic too much. my advice is for you to move on, i did exactly the same thing and the salon i worked at was definatly not me whatsover, it got to the point where i dreaded doing hair and hated everything. when i left this particular salon they took me on a grad stylist (the salon i trained at went bust about a month before i got my Level 2), however after i qualified i realised that i didnt want to be in the past and i wanted to work at a more cutting edge group.
I started in the jan, qualified in May and moved to Saks in dec of last year, i only had seven months expeireince. I then realised being there wasnt right and moved to peewees in Brighton, was there for four months, realised that also wasnt right. Which then almost made me leave, i now work for Rush and have been there for 7 months and absoloutly love it, its given me my passion back of which has improved my work. The upside of this is with only being qualified for under two years im a style director at a salon i love, more passionate than ever, and the perks...we do photoshoots, shows, salon international & BHA's....
my point is, think about yourself and just keep trying until you find the right salon. In regards to your expierence...if you do well in your trade test then time isnt an issued.
Hope it helps.
good luck!
