hi i was just wondering if any1 has tried using these hair extentions because i have recently been on a course to learn how 2 do them and i am coming across some teething problems.They r slipping out in a wk wen they r meant to last 6wks and in some cases they have left a small patch where hair has come away wit the extentions.i was just curious if any1else has come across the same problems?xxx

 

Hey interesting to hear your experience with rapture hair extentions. I have been working with them for a year now and find them to be the best system i have seen. I have had mine in for 5 months ( yes! Far too long!) The only time i have seen them slip out was when i coloured them and put them in when the tapes were still a little damp. Or the other thing could be if your client had a build up of synthetic shampoo and cond on the cuticle prior to your application. If there are patches where they hair has come out perhaps you need a slightly thicker section, i always think of the section needs as much hair as the amount of hair on the weft, if the hair is very fine try cutting them in half.

 I have used rapture for over three years and have had no problems with this system. You may find that using the rapture intensive shampoo prior to application is always the best, as it makes sure that the hair has no reisidue on it ( no conditioner before either!!) Also only putting a small amount of hair in between the tape is also best. I also make sure the client uses the specfic rapture hair care products. As for the small patch of missing hair, i have only come across this when someone has pulled the extension out!!!! the tape is very strong and if a client is too rough with them they will come across this problem, the same can be said of most extention systems if the client doesnt look after them correctly. my clients get 6 to 7 weeks wear out of their extensions and very few ever have them slip or come out. I think this is the best system i have ever come across, and find it quick easy and trouble free. All the clients i have used rapture on have continued to have them in and are really pleased. hope this will help. I also find that the company will always answer and questions if you give them a call.
